Minor reshuffle in Delhi police

Delhi Police on Monday effected a minor reshuffle among its top and middle-level officials assigning them new jobs.

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Monday effected a minor reshuffle among its top and middle-level officials assigning them new jobs.

Aditya Arya, a 1981-batch IPS officer, who is currently Special Commissioner, has been transfered to Goa while Sandeep Goel, a 1989-batch officer, has been posted as Joint Commissioner in charge of Crime Branch.

Goel had been looking after the headquarters.

Virender Singh Chahal, a 1995-batch officer who has been promoted to the rank of Joint Commissioner, will look after headquarters.

Ajay Chaudhary, a 1996-batch IPS officer, has been posted as Additional Commissioner of South-East Delhi.

VV Chaudhary, a 1998-batch officer, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner in charge of Prime Minister`s Security wing.
