New Delhi: Four persons were today detained
in connection with the rape and abduction of a Mizo woman in
south Delhi with the investigators saying these people were
"very relevant" to the case.
DCP (South) H G S Dhaliwal said 15 teams were working on
the case and they were looking into all possibilities.
"We have detained four persons who have criminal
background. The suspects are very relevant to the case...We
are looking at all possibilities. The detentions are based on
some inputs. There is a definite trail," he said.

On November 24, the victim was walking towards her home
in Moti Village near Dhaula Kuan in the morning along with one
of her colleagues when some men in a vehicle abducted her and
took turns to rape her. She was later dumped in Mongolpuri
after which she approached police.
Asked whether investigators have ascertained which
vehicle was used for the abduction, Dhaliwal said it could be
a Mahindra pick-up van but they were waiting for results of
