'Much less water logging this year', claims Arvind Kejriwal

 Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday claimed that there is much less water logging this year after 200 mm of heavy rains lashed the national capital for the past 36 hours.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday claimed that there is much less water logging this year after 200 mm of heavy rains lashed the national capital for the past 36 hours.

"200 mm rains in last 36hrs. Govts continuous monitoring and intervention. Much less water logging than last years. We`ll keep improving," he tweeted.

Heavy rains continued to lash the national capital today bringing about a pleasant change in weather but disrupting normal life. According to reports, intermittent rains will continue to lash the city for the next 48 hours.
