New Delhi: The 'odd-even' plan for cars to curb vehicular pollution in the national capital came into effect from Friday morning. Initially, the scheme will be on trial basis for 15 days.

Schools will remain closed during the period. Under the scheme, Odd number registration cars will ply on odd dates and even number on even dates. The Scheme will be in operation from 8 am in the morning to 8 pm in the evening. However, the scheme will not apply on Sundays.
