New Delhi: It was a sunny Wednesday morning here with a minimum temperature of 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The sky in the day will be partly cloudy, the Met Office.
"Wednesday is likely to be partly cloudy and the possibility of thunderstorms in some areas. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 57 percent.
Tuesday was warm with a maximum temperature of 39.4 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average. The minimum was 29 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
