The city was lashed by heavy rains late Monday night and received a total of 6.2 mm of rainfall till 8.30 a.m. Tuesday.
"The rains were caused due to western disturbances over Delhi. But no more rain is expected today (Tuesday) and in the days to come," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 75 percent.
According to IMD, a clear and sunny day is in store for Delhiites and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around the 28 degrees Celsius mark.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 30.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.0 degrees Celsius.
New Delhi: After a rain soaked night, Delhiites woke up to a pleasant and sunny morning on Tuesday with the minimum temperature settling at 14 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
