New Delhi: With a gentle spring breeze blowing and flowers in full bloom, Delhiites woke up to a pleasant on Sunday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 14 degrees Celsius.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy but there will be no rain," an official of the India Meteorological Department said. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius.
Being a Sunday, many were planning outings to enjoy the weather.
"We are planning to go to India Gate and Purana Quila, it is a nice day and Delhi sees little of such pleasant weather," said Rajiv Arya, a banker.
Rajiv Sharma, a student of Delhi University's Hindu College, said: "We are planning to take a cycle ride around central Delhi. It's pretty to see flowers blooming all around and thankfully there seems little chance of rain."
