PM meets Vajpayee, greets him on his birthday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday went to the house of senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who turned 87, and greeted him on the occasion.

After returning from his visit to Kerala, Singh drove straight to the Krishna Menon Marg residence of the former Prime Minister and presented a bouquet to the ailing leader.

During the brief meeting, the Prime Minister also inquired about the health of the octogenarian leader from his family members.

certainly Bajpayee is greatest leader of independent India. he is more than Indira and Nehru. Clear ideology and clear pro-grammes and clean government he provided. Nuclear tests, Kargil war, Road connectivity, Rural Electrification and provision of drinking water were his priorities and he started them earnestly.
A great orator, poet, for-sighter, a great fighter.
