New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a wet morning
on Saturday with rains lashing several parts of the national
capital.
Rains began at around 6.30 AM and continued till 8:00 AM
and the rain gauges measured 7.2 mm of rainfall in the last 24
hours ending 8.30 AM.
The rains caused waterlogging in areas like Laxmi Nagar,
Vikas Marg, R K Puram and Munirka and traffic movement slowed
down in several areas like ITO.
The MeT department has forecast more rains during the
day.
Rains brought the minimum temperature to 26.9 degree
Celsius with maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover
around 32 and 27 degrees Celsius.
