The showers started at around 1:30 pm bringing down the
temperature by several degrees.
The day started with a high humidity level. The MeT
Department said humidity touched 79 per cent at 8:30 am.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 29.2 degree
Celsius, three degrees above normal.
The city received a total of 320 mm of rains since July
five when the south-west monsoon hit the capital.
