New Delhi: It was a `cool` Sunday morning for Delhiites as a steady morning drizzle drenched the capital, bringing down the temperature.
Rains lashed the national capital this morning and brought with it waterlogging and minor traffic jams. Since it was a Sunday, traffic snarls did not inconvenience commuters. Delhiites had a muggy day the previous day on Saturday with a rise in temperature and high humidity even as some parts of the capital received monsoon showers.
The skies will remain cloudy and there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of the city, while other areas may receive moderate showers, the MeT office said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 35 and 27 degrees Celsius.
