Rallies of Sushma Swaraj in Delhi cancelled for second day in a row

New Delhi: All the four election rallies of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj were cancelled here today for the second day in a row.

There was no reason given by BJP and local organisers for the cancellation of these rallies. Swaraj is scheduled to leave for China tomorrow on a four-day visit tomorrow.

Yesterday also, the poll rallies of Swaraj were called-off with BJP maintaining that she was pre-occupied with various briefings ahead of her China visit.

According to sources, the Union Cabinet minister will hold poll meetings after her return on February 3.

Swaraj had addressed two public meetings on Wednesday.
