New Delhi: A 52-year-old RTI activist was shot at by some motorbike-borne assailants outside his home here, police said Wednesday.
The incident took place around 10 p.m. Tuesday in south Delhi`s Chhawla area. Two bullets hit Parmanand Sharma in the hand and thigh.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where his condition is stated to be out of danger.
Police said Sharma was attacked over a property dispute.
"Sharma had a property dispute with someone, who has been allegedly pressurising him to leave the property," said a police official.
