'Sarcastic' BJP says Vishwas took 'good care' of party colleagues

Taking a sarcastic jibe at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas over his alleged affair with a woman during the 2014 General Elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said the former was taking 'good care' of his colleagues and adopting foul means in taking advantage of his position in the party to get himself exonerated.

New Delhi: Taking a sarcastic jibe at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas over his alleged affair with a woman during the 2014 General Elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said the former was taking 'good care' of his colleagues and adopting foul means in taking advantage of his position in the party to get himself exonerated.

"The AAP's degeneration in political spear has no parallels. One minister accused of holding a fake law certificate and he is the law minister. Another is accused to be indulging in road rage and went scot-free, now Kumar Vishwas of taking 'good care' of his party colleagues. Rather adopting the most fouls means to take advantage of his position in AAP," BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao told ANI here.

"I think these are questions which the media and the people of Delhi continue to ask. And Kejriwal should be prepared to answer them because he is a people's representative holding the position of Delhi Chief Minister," he added.

Vishwas has been accused of a physical relationship with a volunteer in the run-up to the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Vishwas had unsuccessfully contested against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi from Amethi in the general elections.
