Seven men arrested in Delhi for robbery

Seven men allegedly involved in robberies in buses were arrested in the capital after a journalist informed the police about their presence in a bus.

New Delhi: Seven men allegedly involved in
robberies in buses were arrested in the capital after a
journalist informed the police about their presence in a bus, according to the
police.

The arrested have been identified as Rakesh (20),
Satish (20), Dharmender (20)
Kuldeep, Vinod, Dharmender and Rajpal, all 20 years and
residents of Sultanpuri and Mongolpuri.

They were arrested on Monday during a bus checking
near Mata Chanan Devi hospital in west Delhi.

"When the police stopped a DTC bus, a journalist of Bharat
Samachar, Pramod Chauhan got down from the bus and informed
the police about the presence of gang of a dacoits having illegal
weapons", a senior police official said.
