New Delhi: Delhi Police on Thursday claimed to
have smashed a sex racket involving foreign women with the
arrest of five.
All the arrested are women, who belong to two
countries -- three from Uzbekistan and two from Kyrgystan, a

the last over two years. She has operated in different areas
of NCR, shifting her base frequently to avoid detection and
putting up at a rented accommodation in Lajpat Nagar-I for the
past four months.
"The accommodation costs her more than Rs 28,000/- per
month. Some of the girls stay with her and some in another
rented accommodation at Jungpura which again cost them
Rs 25,000 per month. Their earnings on an average per person
is in lakhs," the official said.
"They come to India on tourist visa with their
duration of stay ranging between 2 to 6 months. When they go
back they also purchase leather goods and other garments as
these articles fetch them a sizable profit in their
countries," he added.
