New Delhi: Delhiites on Friday got relief from foggy conditions while the minimum temperature stayed above the normal range in the city.
While the maximum took a dip of three notches to settle at 19.7 degrees Celsius, as against 22.4 degrees recorded yesterday, the minimum was at three degrees above normal at 11.6 degrees.
The city witnessed shallow fog in the morning but it cleared away as the day progressed.
The fog had virtually no impact on flight operations at IGI Airport although some trains coming into Delhi were subjected to slight delays.
But for a brief period when the fog became dense and visibility on the third runway came down to 75 metres, IGIA remained fog free early in the morning, airport officials said, adding that there were no delays due to bad weather.
However, seven flights were cancelled due to operational reasons.
The MeT office has predicted partly cloudy skies tomorrow, with the possibility of fog in the morning.
