New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) leader Shazia Ilmi on Tuesday alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has tried many careers, must finally settle as an actor because he is brilliant with his emotions and drama.
"Arvind Kejriwal has tried many careers. He has been an IRS officer. He has worked in TCS. He was an activist. Now, he is a politician. I think the ultimate career for him is acting. He really should act because he is such a brilliant. All the time using emotions, drama and all that, saying sorry and appealing to people, looking like a victim constantly, I mean that is really him," Ilmi told ANI here.
She further said that Kejriwal should now stop his ' nautanki' and apologise to the people for the false promises that he made to them.
"I think instead of making this emotional and dramatic appeal that he is making which anybody can see through his political shenanigans," she added.
Kejriwal had yesterday demanded full statehood for Delhi while drawing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's attention to the deteriorating law and order in the national capital.
Kejriwal, in a radio ad aired across the country and addressed to Prime Minister Modi, urged him to devote more time to the Delhi Police or hand over its charge to the AAP Government.
