New Delhi: Former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Monday congratulated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal and said that her party had promised outside support but it is not unconditional.

Dikshit said Congress has not promised an unconditional support to AAP. “Our unconditional support is for their programmes. However, whether they are able to fulfil their promises remains to be seen,” he said.
The former Delhi CM said that her party had extended support to AAP so that people of Delhi can get some relief.

“Some of the promises made by them are not deliverable but because people have faith in AAP, I wish them well,” she said.

The former Delhi CM further said that it is not possible for AAP made by them. "But, if they cane succeed to provide relief to the people of Delhi, then it will be good," she added.
The AAP on Monday said that it is ready to form the new government in Delhi and its leader Arvind Kejriwal will be the new chief minister.

Kejriwal also told reporters that he wants to take oath as Delhi Chief Minister and wants the swearing-in ceremony to be held at Jantar Mantar.
