New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 4-month old baby was kidnapped for human sacrifice in the northeast area of New Delhi.
According to CNN-IBN report, the girl child was kidnapped by none other than her maternal uncle, who abducted her and sold her to a tantrik (godman) for Rs 40,000.
The parents soon informed the cops about their child going missing from their home after which the cops acted fast and rescued the child safely from the abductors.
Three persons including child's maternal uncle and the tantrik were arrested, who reportedly have confessed to the crime.
In the past, there have been several incidences when babies have been abducted from from northeast areas of the national capital for human sacrifices. And not every time, they were lucky enough to be rescued on time.
