New Delhi: The capital woke up to a bright, clear Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at 25.4 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal for this time of the year. The met department has forecast possibility of dust or thunder storms later in the day.
"Mainly clear skies through the day but likely to turn cloudy, with dust or thunderstorms towards the evening. The maximum temperature is expected to touch 43 degrees Celsius," an official at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) told a news agency.
The humidity recorded at 8.30 am was 38 percent.
Saturday`s maximum temperature was a notch above average at 40.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 29 degrees Celsius, three notches above average for this time of the year.
