New Delhi: It was a cold morning in the capital Tuesday with partly cloudy skies as the minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 9.5 degrees Celsius.

The Met office has forecast a warm, sunny day in store.
"The skies will become clear and sunny around noon and the day would be warm," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius, added the IMD official.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 95 percent.
Monday`s maximum temperature settled a notch above average at 23.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was two notches below average at 8.5 degrees Celsius.
