New Delhi: It was a sunny Friday in the national capital with the maximum temperature three notches above the season`s average at 39.9 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy Saturday.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy Saturday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 41 and 30 degrees Celsius respectively.
Friday`s minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season`s average.
Thursday`s maximum temperature was recorded at 38 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season`s average while the minimum temperature settled at 23.5 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season`s average.
