Teenager stabbed to death by minor boys

New Delhi: A teenager was stabbed to death
allegedly by three minor boys after a fight over some issue,
police said on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Jhilmil area at around 9 pm
yesterday and the victim has been identified as Ravi, a Class
IX student of ACC Sarvodaya School.

Ravi had gone out to buy some articles from a grocery
shop and the incident took place when he was returning.

Three minor boys accosted him. While two held his hands,
the third one allegedly stabbed him, a senior police official

Ravi was rushed to a nearby hospital by his family from
where he was referred to Hedgewar Hospital. He succumbed to
his injuries later in the night, the official said.

The boys and Ravi had a fight over some issue earlier in
the day but the latter`s family sorted out the matter.
Ravi`s father Amar Singh is an MCD employee. The deceased
was the eldest among Amar`s five children.
