New Delhi: A day after the body of a youth, chopped in pieces, was recovered from near Bhatti Mines in Fatehpur Beri area here, three persons including a juvenile have been arrested for the brutal murder of their friend who was having an affair with a girl, whom one of them liked.
Preetam, Kishan and a minor have been apprehended in connection with the case. Preetam liked the girl with whom Kuldeep was having an affair with. He wanted to teach a lesson to Kuldeep, said a senior police official.
They had had differences over the issue in the past as well. In order to teach a lesson to Kuldeep, Preetam planned to kill him. They had taken Kuldeep in the secluded spot on some pretext where they killed him.
"They not just chopped his head and an arm but also ripped apart the victim's heart and his private parts. They had probably done this to make look as if the victim was attacked by an animal," he said.
The brutality has shocked policemen too who deal with blood and gore every day.
Kuldeep Kumar (18), resident of Sanjay colony in Fatehpur Beri, worked as a delivery boy in a Gurgaon-based courier company, a police official said.
His parents had lodged a missing complaint on Wednesday afternoon.
