Three incidents of building collapse in Delhi

New Delhi: One person suffered minor injuries in the capital which today witnessed three incidents of building collapse, fire brigade officials said.

The first incident was reported from central Delhi's Paharganj where a mobile shop collapsed at around 10:30 am. The cause of collapse is attributed to the torrential rains in the city last evening.

The owner came in the morning and saw some cracks in the wall. "When he was checking that, the building collapsed," they said.

In another incident, a factory building collapsed in outer Delhi's Bawana Industrial Area this evening. No one was injured in the incident.

One person suffered minor injuries in north-west Delhi's Begumpur this evening when the roof an under-construction building collapsed, the officials said.
