Two college students feared drowned in Yamuna

New Delhi: Two college students are feared
to have drowned in Yamuna river today after the duo went
swimming during a birthday celebration, fire brigade officials
said.

Manoj and Pulkit, both aged 19, had gone to Yamuna
near Palla village to celebrate the latter`s birthday today
when the incident took place.

The incident was reported from Palla village at around
2:30 pm. Searches were on for the them till late in the night.

Police said some clothes of the victims, both DU
students, were recovered near the river and a team of fire and
police personnel are carrying out search operations.

Two fire engines are at the spot to assist them.
