Two held, 24 theft cases solved

Two persons allegedly involved in at least 24 cases of theft in shops were arrested here, police said.

New Delhi: Two persons allegedly involved in
at least 24 cases of theft in shops were arrested here, police
said today.

The arrested have been identified as Krishna and Shera,
both aged 25.

They were arrested yesterday from Lodhi Colony area,
police said.

With their arrest, 24 incidents of theft and snatching
have been solved and stolen property worth Rs 2.50 lakh,
including laptops and jewellery, recovered, police said.

Laptop thefts from vehicles in CGO complex area and
baglifting from the shop of a doctor in Jor Bagh were the
recent incidents in which they were allegedly found to be
involved
