New Delhi: A 21-year-old youth along with his juvenile accomplice was today nabbed by the Delhi Police on charges of robbing his employer of Rs 15 lakh. Pankaj Yadav was arrested with his accomplice from Rajeev Nagar yesterday even as their two other partners, Rehan and Jagdish, are on the run.

Police have recovered Rs 2.85 lakh of total amount looted in January, besides seizing two cell phones and motorcycle purchased from the money stolen from the office of M/S Aramax Courier Company located Mayapuri area of the national capital.

According to police, they received information yesterday about the duo's movement in Bhalswa Dairy red-light area and laid trap to ensnare them.
Police said Yadav, who would collect couriers from customers at the company, revealed the four had looted the company at gunpoint.

They had tied hands of the watchman at gunpoint before entering the company. Once in, they removed cash box. Rehan and Jagdish fled with the box to their hideout. Rehan did not disclose the exact amount of heist to his associates, police said.

Explaining Rehan's modus operandi, police said he would collect details from security guards about places where cash/valuables were kept, volume of cash, availability of security staff etc.

He would offer hefty share to informer and also involves him to participate in the robbery. "This is how he got Yadav on board and planned and executed the robbery," he said.
