With summer knocking at the door, Delhiites experienced a warm morning Thursday as mercury rose above 17 degrees.

New Delhi: With summer knocking at the door, Delhiites experienced a warm morning Thursday as mercury rose above 17 degrees.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 17.7 degree Celsius, two degrees above normal and 1.8 degrees up from yesterday`s 15.9 degree Celsius.

The maximum temperature in the last 24 hours was 32.3 degree Celsius which is two degrees above normal.
The MeT Department said the mercury is likely to rise in the coming days and for tomorrow, it has predicted a partly cloudy sky with temperatures between 19 and 35 degree Celsius.
The mean temperature for the month of March is 15.4 degree C (minimum) and 30 degree C (maximum). In the last 11 years, the minimum had dropped below 10 degree C only in 2001 and 2003.
