New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday attacked the BJP-led three municipal corporations for "miserable" condition of cleanliness in Delhi and said it will showcase the civic body as BJP's "model of governance" during the campaign for the upcoming Assembly polls.

"The miserable condition of cleanliness in the national capital shows the real face of the BJP-run Municipal Corporations of Delhi," AAP said in a statement.

The party said it will take the reality to the people and "will present the MCD as BJP's model of governance in the campaign for the coming Assembly elections."

The party also said that when the Central government had launched the 'Clean India Campaign' on October 2, AAP volunteers had actively participated in it and promised the residents to make it a continuing campaign by monitoring it.

"People from across Delhi had sent at least 10,000 photographs of filth in their areas on the AAP's Whats App helpline number, all of which were sent to the mayors of the three MCDs, who didn't take it seriously," the party said.

It also said, "MCD is known for its inefficiency and poor work culture. The state of affairs in the MCD, which represents the BJP's model of governance for Delhi, has been shown the mirror by the court at least thrice in recent days."
