AAP leader Yogendra Yadav on Friday alleged that a fake campaign to remove Arvind Kejriwal was being run in his name.

New Delhi: AAP leader Yogendra Yadav on Friday alleged that a fake campaign to remove Arvind Kejriwal was being run in his name.

In a news conference, Yadav claimed that National Council member Mohit Sharma got a call asking him to support a proposal to remove Kejriwal as the National Convenor and anoint Yadav in his name.

"When we investigated, we found that the number from which I got the call is of the administrator of AAP MLAs whats'app group," Sharma claimed, who was also present at the press conference.

"This has been happening for sometime that calls are being made under my name. I want to make it clear that the national council does not have the power to choose the National Convenor," Yadav said.
