New Delhi: The body of a youth from
Telangana region in Andhra Pradesh was on Wednesday found hanging
from a tree at the Boat Club, close to Parliament here, and
police suspect it to be a case of suicide.
The person`s identity is yet to be ascertained.
Police suspect that the person may have committed
suicide.
A letter written in Telugu has been found with the
deceased but its contents are yet to be ascertained, police
said, adding they are looking into all angles.
The body has been sent to RML hospital for post
mortem, police said.
Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP from
Telangana region, condoled Adhireddy`s death and called for a
"quick and peaceful resolution" to the statehood demand.
Rao claimed Adhireddy was known to him and that he was
"very passionate" about the demand for carving out of a
separate state of Telangana.
"Every time the boy used to talk about Telangana, he used
to worry about the future of the young generation there. I
want to know how many lives would be taken in the name of
Telangana," he said.
