Bangalore: A baby hippopotamus born on December
27 is the latest addition to the Bannerghatta Biological Park.
The baby and its mother Seetha aged around 18 years are
healthy.
The father of the baby is 20 year old Karthik. Both
Karthik and Seetha were brought from Mysore Zoo 15 years
ago.
The hippopotamus population in the biological park has
risen to seven with the addition of the new born, a release
said here.
