The project, Coping with Climate: Assessing Transport Sector Strategies for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation for Indian Cities (CLIMATRANS), will assess climate change impacts in the country's urban areas to develop mitigation and adaptation strategies for the Indian transport sector, said the release by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI).

In a joint research, four Indian environment and technology institutions collaborate with the Norwegian Meteorological Institute to implement the project during the next three years.
