yes it is possible if we have the will power to change our entire lifestyle and food habits. we need to shift to the decentralized industrial system. this means entire economic system should be based on the solar energy production and other renewable energy productions. this will definitely lead to degrowth than present type of gnp oriented production. the present growth oriented economy is unsustainable and so sudden collapse is inevitable. so it is wise to go for a degrowth economy models as early as possible.
