Washington: Scientists from around the world
have issued a new study with even more evidence of global warming.
The last decade was the warmest on record, according to the annual State of the Climate Report, released Wednesday by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The analysis focused on 10 measures of climate ranging from the well-known air temperature to changes in glaciers,
humidity, sea level and ocean temperatures.
In the words of Peter Thorne, of the Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites: "What this data is doing
is, it is screaming that the world is warming."
The report comes just a day after President Barack Obama renewed his call for climate legislation.
