New Delhi: Has it ever happened to you that you go out in search of something and are faced with something even better?
The feeling would be too good to be true. However, this is exactly what happened with this couple.
For some people, it remains a dream to swim alongside two wild whales, but for Brad Nicholls and his girlfriend Emmy-Rose Curtis, a hunt for sea turtles led to this amazing bonding between them and two whales.
The video you are about to watch will show you how the two boaters came across a mother humpback whale and her baby calf.
What's even more intriguing is that the whales didn't seem to mind the swimmers and in fact, stayed around with them for an hour, much longer than what they typically stay for, which is usually not more than a couple of minutes.
Bringing along sufficient film equipment turned out to be a good idea since what they captured is truly magical.
One of our favourite moments of the footage is when Emmy-Rose Curtis splashed the water with her arm and the whales responded by doing the same with its fins.
The couple even clicked a few selfies with the peaceful giants. Have a look!
