Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki on Wednesday said that the state government has sent the investigation report of a committee constituted to probe the paper leak of civil services exam to Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for further action.
"The state cabinet with a note has forwarded the report to the Commission and already ordered a probe by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the state police to find out the persons involved in the episode," Tuki told reporters here.
The aspirants have rejected the inquiry report and demanded President's intervention on the issue.
The Chief Minister said that the state government had no role in the independent functioning of the APPSC as it was an autonomous body.
The leakage of General Studies question paper of the civil services (Mains) exam conducted in September this year has rocked the state with hundreds of aspirants staging dharna which forced the APPSC to postpone the exam till further notice.
