CTET 2016 admit card released: Here are important guidelines for candidates

The Central Board of Secondary Education on Sunday released the admit cards for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on Sunday.

New Delhi: New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education had on Sunday released the admit cards for the 9th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which will be held on February 21, throughout the country and abraod.

We bring to you instructions to be followed by candidates in the examination hall.

Fifteen minutes before the commencement of the exam, each candidate will be given sealed Test Booklet with an Answer Sheet placed inside it.

The candidates will not open the Test Booklet until asked to do so by the invigilator. However, they can't break the seal before the announcement.

Five minutes before the commencement of the exam, candidates will be asked to break the seal of the Test Booklet. The candidates should check carefully that the Test Booklet printed on Side-2 of the OMR sheet is the same as printed on the Test Booklet.

Candidates will find the OMR sheet placed inside the sealed Test Booklet.

Code like A, B, C or D printed on OMR sheet will be same as mentioned on the Test Booklet.

The OMR sheet used will be of special type which will be scanned on Optical Scanner. The candidate should ensure that the OMR sheet is not folded.

Side - I:

The Side-1 of OMR sheet contains the following columns which are to be filled in neatly and accurately by the candidate by the ball pen provided by CTET only. Use of pencil is strictly prohibited.

Centre's name
Name of the examination centre
Subject offered for Paper-II (Only in case of Paper II)

Side II:

The Side-2 of OMR sheet contains the following columns which are also to be filled by the candidates with the ball point pen provided by CTET only. Use of pencil is strictly prohibited.

Subject offered for Paper-II(Only in case of Paper-II)
