Registration for IBPS Clerk exam 2015 to close today

The registration for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk examination will be closing today (Tuesday).

Delhi: The registration for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk examination will be closing today (Tuesday).

The registration had started on August 11 and is scheduled to be held in December.

The IBPS Clerk exams are for clerical positions in various banks across the country.

The application forms for the exams for will be available in online mode only.

Also the exams will be Computer-based.

As for the selection process, in order to give the main exams, the candidates have to appear for the preliminary exams.

Those who qualify in the main exam will be called for interview.

They will be called by the participating banks.

This is meant to be the final round of selection.

Candidates who qualify are appointed in any of the participating banks.

As for the syllabus for Mains and Prelims exams, the paper consists of five subjects.

The questions are objective type and are in the following category - Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer.

All of them have 40 questions and carry 40 marks.

Preliminary and Main exams are objective based and are held online.

They are for one and two hours, respectively.

Moreover, negative is done for wrong answers both Prelims and Main exams.

The General and OBC category candidates have to pay Rs 600 as the application fee.

And SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs 100.

They have to be made online only.
