RGNIYD invites candidates to apply for full-time Ph.D programmes

New Delhi: The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) has invited interested candidates to apply for full-time Ph.D programmes in the Public Administration, Rural development, Sociology and Development Practice.

Eligibility:

Master’s Degree in the above mentioned areas with minimum of 55 percent marks or equivalent CGPA (50 percent for SC/ST/Physically Disabled category) in the Master’s degree.

The candidates with M.Phil/JRF/NET/SLET are exempted from the entrance examination.

Admission procedure:

On the basis of Entrance Test and Personal Interview to be conducted by the Institute.

Reservation of seats and relaxation of marks will be as per Government of India Rules.

The RGNIYD, Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, is an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament No. 35/2012 under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. The RGNIYD was set up in 1993 under the Societies Registration Act, XXVII of 1975.
