"Shortlisted candidates based on aggregate of best four subjects will be called for an interview which shall be preceded by an aptitude test of 30-minutes duration."

"These tests carry five percent overall weightage and will be conducted at 7:30 am for candidates who'll be interviewed in the pre-lunch sessions. Those appearing for interviews after lunch will write their tests at 1:30 pm," she added.

The college offers honours courses in Economics, English, History, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Chemistry along with the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) pass courses.

Earlier, the college used to enroll students on the basis of a personal interview and cut-offs announced after Class XII examinations.

"The final selection will be based on composite merit, which comprises Class 12 marks (85 percent weightage), aptitude test (5 percent weightage) and interview (10 percent weightage)," Gabriel said.
