New Delhi: The Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar has announced the exam dates for X-GMAT 2016.

The exams will be held on January 10, 2016. The interested candidates can submit the application for X-GMAT 2016 by December 7, 2015.

X-GMAT is conducted for admissions into Master of Business Administration (MBA) offered in Business Management, Human Resources Management (HRM), Global Management and Leadership and Rural Management (RM) and integrated Doctor of Philosophy (Ph D)

Eligibility criteria: The minimum requirement for admission to the Programme is a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 55 percent marks in aggregate from a recognised university.

Admission Test

Applicants are required to take any one of the Admission Tests: a) XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on 3 January, 2016, or b) CAT to be conducted by IIMs on 29 November 2015, or c) GMAT taken in 2014 or 2015 (minimum score for applying 550), or d) X-GMAT to be conducted by Xavier University Bhubaneswar on 10 January 2016. Applicants opting for XAT/CAT have to follow XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time. Registering for XAT/CAT/GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB, if not opting for X-GMAT.

Applicants also have to fill up the online application form separately for XIMB programme at: www.ximb.ac.in Upon successfully filling the online application form and paying the relevant application fee, the applicant will be intimated by email about the acceptance of the form, followed by admission bulletin 2016 by post/courier.

The programme will begin by the middle of June 2016 for the first year students. At this time the students will be given a Manual of Policies and Regulations which will be binding on them.
