New Delhi: This incident took place at Sunrise restaurant in Florida. A 15 pound, giant male lobster was caught and brought to the restaurant owner Joe Melluso, where he decided to serve it as someone' s dinner, according to a local news report.
All thanks to John Merritt from iRescue, he stepped forward at right time and saved the life of giant lobster. Merritt decided to purchase the catch for $300 but Melluso was so touched by the rescuer's effort that he ended up donating the lobster to him.
"They really opened up my eyes and it got me a little emotional," Melluso told ABC News. And that's how Larry was dropped from restaurant's menu list and sent to the Maine State Aquarium.
