Mumbai: Public sector lender UCO Bank Friday said its net profit surged by 43.22 percent to Rs 245.82 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, over the same period in the previous fiscal.
Total income increased to Rs 2,608.7 crore for the third quarter ended, against Rs 2,433.52 crore in the corresponding period last year, UCO Bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Shares of UCO Bank were trading at Rs 57.35 on the BSE, 3.33 percent higher from previous close.
