Luanda: The draw for the 2012 African Nations Cup qualifiers has been delayed until later this month, the Confederation of African Football said.

The CAF, which did not give a reason for the delay, now plans to hold the draw in Lubumbashi on Feb. 21 at the African Super Cup match between TP Mazembe Englebert and Stade Malien.

The draw for the tournament, being co-hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon in 2012, is usually released the day before the preceding Nations Cup final. Egypt beat Ghana 1-0 to win the 2010 edition in Angola on Sunday.
