Barcelona to offer Villa to Man City and Chelsea London: Spanish football giant Barcelona is preparing to offer World cup winning striker David Villa to Manchester City and Chelsea.

Barcelona are reluctant to offer Villa, but accept it will be the only way to fund the proposed 91 million pound triple bid that they are reportedly planning for Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas, Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez and Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi, The Daily Mirror reports.

Barcelona’s President Sandro Rosell has restricted coach Pep Guardiola to a 40 million pound transfer budget as the club look to cut their 350 million pound debt.

Rosell has also said that any further funds will be raised by selling players.

Villa joined Barcelona last summer in a 35 million pound transfer from Valencia. He scored 23 goals in his debut season at Camp Nou. He is also Spain’s all-time record scorer with 46 goals in 72 international appearances.
