defeat in the last group match of the AFC Cup against Kuwait
SC, Musli Power Churchill Brothers will have to get their acts
together as they take on Salgaocar SC in the 23th round of the
I-League, played at Nehru Stadium, here tomorrow.
Churchill 1-7 defeat against Kuwait SC came as a rude
shock as they drew with them at home.
Their hopes of retaining the title is almost over
after their loss to Sporting Clube de Goa in their previous
match and are now placed fourth with 32 points from 20
matches, two matches less than leader Dempo who are 15 points
clear of them, now need one point from their remaining three
matches to clinch the title for the fourth time.
Churchill lost their last two Goan derbies, so they
will be aiming to change that in this game with a better
performance.
Churchill coach, Carlos Pereira who has the full to at
his disposal to choose will be looking to his trumph card
Odafe Okolie to fetch victory along with Felix.
Churchill's main worry is the plucky defence which has
buckled under pressure. The midfield also has been
inconsistent which have saw them loose matches against weaker
teams.
