Desperate Sporting look to end losing streak in I-League Margao: Sporting Clube de Goa would be desperate to end their losing streak when they take on Mumbai Football Club in the 15th round I-League encounter to be played at Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.

The Flaming Orange, who were at the top of the points table in the first leg of the last season under coach Vishwas Goankar, are still winless and languishing at the bottom with just six points.

Looking to start the second phase with a win against Air-India, their bid ended in a dull draw.

Sporting, who are eight points behind 13th placed Salgaocar, now need to get their act together and learn from the past mistakes if they are to avoid relegation.

They have only 12 rounds remaining from now on.

Sporting had played well in earlier matches, and tomorrow was a realistic chance for them to break the duck.

On the other hand, Mumbai side who had lost their last two away matches, had put up a fighting display against title contenders Dempo to go down 2-3.

"We have created lot of chances against Air-India but our strikers failed to take advantage which has been our drawback. Tomorrow is another opportunity for us to win as we play at home and against another Mumbai side whose confidence is a bit low after two straight defeats in their last two matches. Hopefully things work in our way and end our losing streak which will help us to fight our way to avoid relegation," said Sporting coach Vishwas.
